Flip Flop Paper Piecing

I took a class yesterday from Mary Kay Mouton.  She wrote a book called Flip-Flop Paper Piecing and it is really interesting.  Here are the blocks I made.

Here are Danielle’s blocks.

Here are Stella’s blocks.

Look at all the perfect points!

At guild today she is doing her presentation and will be showing a lot of quilts.  Two years ago, she entered and won a ribbon at the ECQG quilt show with a wonderful miniature quilt.  She did give us paper for a small block but I didn’t get it made yet.

Here is a 6 inch block (all of ours are 6 inch blocks) along with a small one that someone in class made.  Sorry but I don’t remember who.

  1. Just love paper piecing and I absolutely love your blocks!! Fabulous hot colors!

  2. Like the colors you used. I'm in a challenge right now that has some paper piecing, I have been skipping over those could use that class for sure

  3. G'day. They are great blocks. Love the colous that you have used. Take care. Liz...

I would love to hear from you. Make sure I have a way to contact you if you have a question.
