Turning Twenty Finished

I am impressed with myself. I cut the fat quarters for this quilt last Saturday and just finished quilting it a couple of minutes ago. Here it is finished - still needs the binding but I will be able to take it to the shop tomorrow so they can show it at Saturday Sampler. I rarely finish a quilt this fast.

Here is the front of the quilt.

Here is the back.

I quilted freehand flowers all over the quilt and I like how it turned out. I used a variegated colorful thread on the front and bright pink on the back.

I did every type of flower I could think of and then threw in a few feathers and ferns and loops and ribbons. I think it turned out good.

Turning Twenty is such a simple quilt but when you have great fabric, you don't need to cut it in small pieces to make a quilt.
