Fall into Fall

Here is the winner of my Fall Into Fall giveaway.

kakd2384 has left a new comment on your post "Fall into Fall":
I love fabric of any size, shape or color. I am currently finishing a throw for my sister, it is for Christmas. Am hoping to make wedding ring quilt next so these charms would be perfect.

Today is the day for the Fall into Fall giveaway.  Debi is doing a great job of organizing this and I signed up to host a giveaway as soon as I read about it.

Here is what I am giving away -

This is a stack of nickel squares or 5 inch squares or charms, whichever you would like to call them.  The stack is over 3 inches high and may even grow higher .  You will be able to make a larger quilt or a couple of small ones using one of the many charm or nickel quilt patterns out there.

To enter the giveaway, just leave a comment on this post.  As part of your comment, tell me what project you are wanting to start next.  Be sure that I have a way to contact you.  If you are a no-reply blogger, you need to leave your email address in your response.  If I don’t have a way to contact you, I will not include your name in the drawing.

This is open to anyone, whether you have your own blog or not.  I will also mail internationally so everyone is welcome, as long as I can contact you.  I will draw the winner on October 15.

Good luck to everyone!

Melinda

  13. I have so many projects to do, I don't know which one to start with. I think I will do something with my Civil War fabrics.

  14. I am hand quilting lap quilts for each of our 3 SIL's. I almost have the first one done. The other two are pieced and sandwiched. So I will start hand quilting on #2. I did the hardest one first, so the other two should go quicker. Great giveaway. I love working with charm squares. Have a good day. Winona

  15. What a wonderful stack of loveliness! :) Right now I'm working on a charity quilt (I'm so slow though...I'm ALWAYS working on it!) I am quilting my first twin size quilt for my daughter's bed. Once those are finished, I'll have more charity quilts to do, and I'd REALLY like to make a quilt for my sister for Christmas.

    Thanks for a wonderful giveaway!

My next quilt project must be a quilt for my 14 year old son. He likes to make baby quilts for any friends who have a baby and I quilt big quilts. He just said to me the other day that he is the only one in our family I have not made one for yet:( So I promised I would make him one before I make anyone else one.

The next QUILT I am starting is going to be a throw quilt made out of lovely blue, green, and purple batiks that I am DYING to cut into! Thanks for hosting this giveaway :)

  24. Good morning! A tower of Charm, how cool! My next projects will be for Christmas -- 2 quilted gorgeous tote bags that I will be tempted to keep; and a full sized bed quilt in delicate pinks and green, pieced roses alternating with fussy cut rose motif fabric, for one of my favorite nieces. Plus I'm going to a quilt retreat in 2 weeks, where we will be making a Kaye Milligan quilt of Possibilities: batik pine trees. mary6850 at gmail.com

  25. You know I cannot resist scrap quilts! Somewhere in my sewing room is a much smaller version of that scrappy star quilt. I made it years ago and forgot all about it until I saw the post. Now I will have to dig it out. My next project is to finally get to work on the bandana quilt. It's going to be made from the map and pictorial bandanas from National Parks all over the country.

But, until I find out what they want to do about the nursery, I suppose the next project I WILL start is probably going to be something Christmas-y.
