On The Needles–April 4, 2014

I guess I really should say off the needles.  While Bill was in the hospital, I finished my socks.  I still need to weave in the yarn ends before I can wear them but all the knitting is done.  This is the second pair I have made with the toe up pattern, using the Fish Lips Kiss heel. I am really glad I took the class late last year.

My next project is to finish these socks that I started some time ago.

These use larger needles so hopefully they will go faster – of course that means I need to work on them.

  1. Your finished socks are great! Love the colors. And I like the yarn of the pair you started a while ago. Sometimes we just need to set a small amount of time each day to work on projects we aren't thrilled with, just to get them finished. Good luck!

  2. Cute socks - that is happy yarn! Hope things are improving for Bill - sending a prayer your way -- take care - have a great weekend.

  3. Hi melinda have been away from blogging for a while, im sorry to hear about your hubby.
    Praying for you both.
Love the socks, im so in awe of anyone who can knit socks, they always look like the most complicated project. My hat is off to you :)
    Have a lovely weekend

  4. Both pair of socks look great. Can't wait to see the second pair finished.

  5. Your finished socks look like happy socks with such playful yarn. I am looking forward to seeing the older pair finished. I really like the color of those. Hope your Hubby is all well.

I would love to hear from you. Make sure I have a way to contact you if you have a question.
