Quilter’s Blog Hop Party–Giveaway!

It is time for another blog hop party.  I have another flannel layer cake that I will be offering to one lucky person.  No hoops to jump through, just leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite quilting notion is.  As a quilting notion junkie, I am eager to hear from you.  My new favorite notion is these clips from Clover.

image

They are great for binding and for sewing with the wonderful laminates out there in the quilting world now.  I like them so much that I will do a second draw for a package of these.

Here is the layer cake.

If you are a no-reply blogger, be sure to leave your email address in your comment.

This giveaway will remain open until March 23.  I will pick a winner on the morning of the 24th.

Be sure to check out all the other giveaways at The Quilting Gallery.

  4. I've never used the clips either. Very interesting.

I am loving my 1/4 inch marking tool right now, because I've been making a lot of HST. Instead of using my ruler to mark in the middle of the square, I use my 1/4 inch marking tool and I mark the lines I need to sew. :D

    ReplyDelete
  119. Ooh those clips are wonderful. Julie from Jaybird Quilts talked about those so I had to buy some to see them myself. I only bought the 10 pack and can already see where I should have bought the larger package. I opened them and played around with them but haven't used them yet. My favorite tool is my ceramic marking pencil. I have had the worst time with those diappearing markers whether it's the air disappearing ones or those that disappear when sprayed with water. I've used almost every one sold since I started machine embroidery back in late 2003. They always didn't work after one or two times. I bought the ceramic marking pencils and LOVE them. I want to buy another so I don't have to switch the ceramic leads to the other color when I need to do that.

I have only seen the new laminates once before but the print that store had was sadly, not very pretty so I haven't bought any yet. I know I'd love some of them though. I had hoped to buy some to make a cute changing pad for my new Granddaughter who was born 5 weeks ago. Sadly though, I haven't been able to buy any yet to do that.

Thank you for the wonderful giveaway.

  176. My favorite tool is a pair of scissors that my hubby gave me a few years ago for Christmas: titanium, cuts about 6 layers of cotton easily. Thanks for participating in the blog hop party. You have fabulous prizes!

  177. I'm pretty new to quilting so I don't have many notions. Yet. ;) My favorite so far is this really tiny pair of pink scissors that I keep next to my machine to clip threads with. Hubby picked the scissors out for me one day and they have saved my sanity!

    Thanks for hosting a giveaway!

  180. I have never used the clips either. Are they better to use than pins? My favorite notion is a small crochet hook I use to get rid of pulls in knits.

  181. My newest favorite notion is a small handle fitted with two suction cups beneath that can be affixed to rulers. So "handy," no pun intended. ;)

  182. My grandmother was a quilter, and she did everything by hand, to include cutting out the pieces with scissors! I have to be grateful for my rotary cutter/mat/ruler because without it, I don't know if I'd have the patience like she did!
