Beginning Machine Piecing–Quilt Tops!

The final session of the Beginning Machine Piecing Class was Wednesday.  There were 9 students, 4 in the morning and 5 in the evening.  Everyone did a wonderful job.  Here are the completed quilt tops.

This last one is not sewn together because she decided she wanted to make a replacement block – after that was done, she started putting it together but ran out of time before it became a top.

It was so much fun to see the tops as they were finished.  Most people got at least some of the first border put on.  For the next session, I am extending the class to one more session so we can get all the borders on.

  2. Isn't it interesting all the different color combination's. I think you can tell a lot about a person from the colors they pick for their first quilting projects. They're all wonderful.
