Pizza and Patchwork

Last night we held a Pizza and Patchwork party at Tiny Stitches.  It started at 4 in the afternoon and everyone left at midnight.  We did a mystery quilt and I was in charge.  Fortunately I didn’t have to go to work until a little after noon but it made for a long day.

We set up the classroom with a table that looked perfect for pizza.

Maetha (Luigi) delivered the pizza for each of the nine quilters. Here is what was in each pizza box.  By the way, we did also have real pizza for dinner. Note the mustache in each box!

We precut the strips for the quilt and the first thing they had to do is to subcut the fabric.

Here are some of the quilters hard at work – note the mustaches!

By the end of the evening most of them had the blocks made for their quilts or were very close to finishing.  I hope to get a photo of a quilt top sometime this week since I forgot to get any photos late last night.  We did have a great time although morning came very early today.

  1. It looks like a lot of fun. Love the mustaches, particularly the one on her forehead. LOL!

  3. It looks like you had fun. MMM pizza, it's not on my diet anymore but I bet I would have had a slice anyway.
