I am so excited about the new quilt I am going to make for the shop. Look at this great fabric.
I can’t believe how much I love this line. It is by Timeless Treasures and is called Kiwi by Alice Kennedy. It has my favorite colors in it. I love my black and whites and to have them with my favorite neutral lime green (or kiwi as it is called in this line).
The prints will be the blocks, the black is the inner border with the larger piece of lime green in the back as the outer border. The plain lime green will be the binding and the black print in the back will be the backing.
I started cutting it tonight but have to finish up the polka dot quilt first. I got all those blocks finished today and hope to piece the top tomorrow.

Wow, I absolutely love that fabric. I can't wait to see the quilt you are making.
ReplyDeleteI just drooled over that fabric in the current HOP catalog...
ReplyDeleteFrom seeing your work in the shop and on your blog I can see that these colors are right up your alley! That always makes the sewing fun, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteHope you get to take the trip to Mary Jo's then--that limo idea is wonderful!
This is fantastic fabric...I have never seen it before.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy sewing it!
I can't wait to see what you do with this fabric. I need to make the quilt quicly so I can get it to the longarmer and back. Mine will be from one of those patterns made for jelly rolls.
ReplyDeleteUmmmmm. Pretty.
