Beyond Beginners

I taught a Beyond Beginners class last night.  I thought there were going to be two students but two more signed up yesterday so there were four last evening.  They all got a great start on their quilts.  Here are the projects they were working on.

Very pretty fabric choices.

Also last night I finished the first sock.

I got the second one cast on and started.  I am not real happy with this but am going to finish the second one and start on another pair.  I see many mistakes in the completed sock but it fits pretty well and that is what really matters.

  2. I thought you were knitting two at a time on two circular needles. I like the yarn.

  3. I wish I could knit (arthritis) cuz I love socks, especially when they are wild colors. And, I think I would have loved to have taken your class.

  4. I love your sock! Keep going! If you wait too long to make the second one, it won't look like the first. (Ask me how I know that!) I've gotten addicted to making socks. I have enough scarves and mittens and can't seem to get up the enthusiasm to make a sweater.... so now I'm hooked on socks! I love the yarn you used- great job!
