Maetha and Mary took everything out to the Sewing and Quilt Expo in Gwinnett today and set up our booth. I came around 3:00 and they had everything all set. The booth looks great but I forgot to take a photo. Will do that tomorrow morning when the Expo opens.
Since the traffic is so bad, I am staying out here in Gwinnett. The hotel is very nice and since I am alone, I brought my sewing machine and stuff to work on. Thought you might like seeing my sewing set-up before I make a mess of it.
Here is my little Janome all set up and ready to go. I have a Sew-Ezi table but decided not to bring it.
Next is my sewing tool box. My sewing machine fits in the bottom and I am always ready to go sew somewhere. I got the tool box at Wal-Mart and love it.
Here is my cutting station. I can also iron on this board but since there is an ironing and ironing board, I probably won’t use the ironing part.
I brought several projects with me. Here is the first one I plan to work on. I love these project boxes. It is so easy to put everything in a box and keep everything together.

Looks like you're all set to have an entire evening of sewing. Are you going to show what project you're working on?
ReplyDeleteI hope that you can get a lot done!! I LOVE those project boxes, too! I just picked up 2 more on sale last week. :)
ReplyDeleteSpend some money for me since I am on a self imposed 'no buy' for the time being! :)
Have fun and try not to work too hard!
I am so impressed with your "travel" setup! Hoping you get alot done tonight!
ReplyDeleteWhere are the project boxes from? They are a great idea!
I expect to see lots of progress. (Well at least more progress than I am accomplishing.)
ReplyDeleteI did the same thing for the last workshop I attended and again when I was visiting family. Since I think staying in a hotel/motel is quite boring, I love setting up my travel studio and getting something done.
