I hope this is the final time I post about this quilt until it is quilted. After posting the photo yesterday, I really looked at it and found that several blocks were turned wrong.
Here is yesterday’s version followed by today’s final version!
Can you see the difference? Look at the chain blocks in both and you can see that I had to take out 5 nine-patches and turn them around. It only took about an hour and a half but I am so over this quilt at this point.
Next is Mary’s gambling winnings from Wednesday night. Each of the fabrics in the bag is (or should be) a food fabric. Can’t wait to see how she uses them.
More tomorrow.

It turned out very nice Melinda.

Thanks for sharing your progress on the GWTW quilt. It is beautiful and it took me a long time to see the difference in the pics but finally found it. Great job with diligence and patience!!!

Even with you explaining it, it took me a long time to find the problem. I'm not sure anyone would have noticed but I understand. It would always bug you. I'm the same way.
ReplyDeleteI love the green, black and white quilt in the next post too!
GWTW - I think the pattern "works" both ways. All anyone is really going to notice is if everyone is standing up - not to the side or upside down.
