Well, at least the first border is on. Next is the fly stitch on all the seams and then on to the pieced blocks.
Still quite a bit of stitching left but it should go pretty quick.

I've really enjoyed your updates on this quilt, too -- it's so much fun! My favorite is the musical notes across the top. It makes me feel like breaking out into a chorus of "Walking in a Winter Wonderland!" :)
ReplyDeleteI love how it turned out!!! Great Job
ReplyDeleteOK, so I am way behind in blog reading but I did want to say how wonderful this is. I cannot imagine hand stitching all that but I am really impressed with your work.
ReplyDeleteMelinda, this is gorgeous. I'm hoping to make a small one from the same designer. It would be my first step into embroidering a quilt. Have you ever used Transfer Eze for your embroidery? Would you mind sharing your favorite way to mark the embroidery design. Sharpie, Frixion, Transfer Eze? Just hoping for some free advice from a pro :+)
