Pets on Quilts

Here is my entry in the Pets on Quilts contest.  This is a pattern by Amy Bradley.  I finished this quilt last year and have entered it in the ECQG Quilt Show in September.  It is fusible applique and I ran it as a block of the month at Tiny Stitches.  It was lots of fun picking all the fabrics for each block.  I quilted doggie sayings in the yellow border.

Each of the dogs has such personality – it was a fun, fun quilt to make.

  2. This is a wonderful quilt. As I looked at each dog in turn I thought "this is my favourite", then I looked at the next one and thought "No, this is" etc.

  4. Love the prim poodle on the bottom, with the pink glasses. I think she is a librarian, watching over her domain, ever ready with a kind word for the children or a stern look for those who are too loud!

Great quilt! Thank you so much for sharing it!
