Springtime on the Square

The raffle quilt was at our guild meeting today. It has it's own suitcase to travel in and it's own stand to hang from. It also has a name - Springtime on the Square. The center of the quilt is the gazabo at Marietta Square, which is the Downtown Square.

All the guild members got their raffle tickets today. If anyone is interested in purchasing a raffle ticket, let me know and I will be happy to get them to you. You can pay with paypal or send me a check.

The quilt top and backing are batiks. The applique is all needleturn and there are also 3D flowers on it. The top was pieced and appliqued by guild members and it is wonderfully done. I custom quilted it and even if I say so myself, it is wonderfully quilted.

  1. Melinda, I want to buy some raffle tickets. I can send you a check - are the tickets $1 each? Or are they sold by the *book*? Let me know - I'll buy whatever $20 gets me.
