We do not have yardage from the line at the shop yet but I was able to find border and binding fabrics from other lines that look great on the quilt. This is another happy quilt.
I quilted it using yellow variegated thread and a panto called Starburst. It was a good selection for this cute quilt.
I will be taking it to Tiny Stitches this afternoon when I go in to help decorate ths shop for the hop. I also have to finish packaging the kits so they will be ready for all the hoppers starting tomorrow.
We expect to be very busy for the shop hop. It lasts for 4 days and has 13 shops on the list. Because of the distance between the shops, it certainly takes more than one day to visit all of them.
I quilted the shop hop quilt and will post a picture of it tonight or tomorrow - it is very beautiful.
Very cute Melinda, I'm trying to decide which of my fat quarters will work with this pattern.
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful eye candy over here! Since I make a lot of kids quilts, naturally I am drawn to the one from this post but the raffle quilt is gorgeous too.
ReplyDeleteI missed out on the trip when our group did the shop hop but have been to Tiny Stitches--cool shop!
The quilt is a very happy quilt. Have fun with the Shop Hop. Do you get to shopping to all the stores? Have you made your shopping list yet?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun quilt! It's so colorful, I just love it! I wish I knew of a shop hop in my neck of the woods. They sound like so much fun. Thanks for sharing your work.
