Piecemakers Christmas Brunch

I went to the first of many holiday parties today. The Piecemakers Bee group had our Christmas brunch today. We do a block exchange each year and the goal is to have completed quilts to show at the Christmas brunch. Several of the members made the goal but my blocks are just sitting in a pile waiting for inspiration and time.

This year, the exchange involved giving fabric to each other person and they made a block out of our fabric. We made the same block for each person - using their fabric. I made Sawtooth Stars for everyone.

Hopefully, I will have a quilt to share sometime soon. Of course, I haven't put together the blocks from 2007 yet either.
Also, we announced the blocks for 2009. This year they will be a fairly simple black and white with one bright color block and they are only 6 inches square. We are only making one for each person and have until June to do them.
