My friend Danielle is in the hospital with a serious issue. What do quilters do when a friend is in need? Give them a quilt. This is a quilt I made last year and completed in November. I put a label on it and took it to the hospital last night. Danielle seemed to be pleased to receive it and I felt good about having it available to comfort her.
I hope it brings her comfort and warmth as she heals.
Melinda

ReplyDeleteI love the quilt, Melinda, thank you so much for bringing it to me. I insisted that they cover me with it as soon as was practical after the surgery and at no time after that was I without it at the hospital. I wish you could have heard all the compliments it received. It made a huge difference in how I felt about being stuck in bed, especially in the last two days when the pain has been bad. Even more than the quilt, I love you. I am blessed to have you in my life. Thank you!
