I finished the house quilt top and it is ready to be quilted.
Quilt turn in for the quilt show was yesterday and judging starts today. I won’t have a lot of free time but hope to get this quilted in the next few days (in my spare time).
Be sure to go to Judy L’s blog and see all the other design walls.

Love this quilt. Your fabrics are sweet and this is a great modern look. Nice, hope your quilt does well in the show.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lot of work getting quilts ready for a show...doesn't seem like it should be, but I know it always takes way longer than you think!
ReplyDeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteI like this fabric and the Houses made with it! Gotta make just one or maybe two for Guild tomorrow. happy Quilting on this one, what will you quilt on it? Enjoy the quilt show, take lots of Pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute quilt!!
ReplyDeleteI was hoping to come to your show but now that I am working Saturday mornings, those weekend trips are out, at least for a while. Good luck with your quilt.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a nice light airy color scheme for this quilt. I tend to think in intense, deep colors and lots of contrast and it can get a little overbearing at times. I like the light feel of this one, and the little houses are adorable. I suppose that little foreclosure signs out front of a bunch of them would be a statement on the times, but would certainly take away from the happy look!
ReplyDeleteThis is a darling quilt, but SO much work. You did a great job.
ReplyDeleteOh I really Like this house quilt! love the framing strips around each block.
