Nothing new on my design wall. Here are the first nine blocks from the Jelly Roll Sampler. I think the last pattern was released today and I am two behind before the last one.
My friends and I worked on basket blocks today for a group quilt that the ECQG guild is making for donation to the Georgia Quilt Museum. The blocks were much more difficult than we had anticipated and we lost some of the points that should have been there. They were made from a pattern that was stamped on the fabric and they just didn’t want to go together and be the right size. Well, done is better than perfect and hopefully they will look good when pieced into the quilt.

I like the fabrics that you chose for your Jelly Roll blocks. I need to check on today's block.
ReplyDeleteLove the color combo of your blocks. Very happy!
ReplyDeleteYes, Done is better than perfect!

ReplyDeleteThat fabric is on my design wall too. I like yours so much better. What is the name of the 1st block on the 2nd row?
ReplyDeleteLove the colors. I have a couple of jelly rolls just have to figure out what to do with them.
ReplyDeleteI am trying to do a couple of the big snowmen blocks before I finish all of the small ones so that the end will seem a little easier.
