I went to work at the quilt shop today early since it was so busy. People always go shopping for milk and bread when snow is coming but apparently quilters run out for fabric and thread. The store is open on Friday nights until 7 pm and I usually go in around 5 pm.
Today it started snowing around 1 pm and by 5, there was a lot of snow already on the ground. We closed the shop at 5:30 and found that empty bolts work well to scrape off snow – who would have thought.
Here are a few photos – it is pretty.
Did you notice my bottle tree covered with snow? All blue bottles!
Here are the little doggies in the snow. They were not happy.
Driving wasn’t bad but should be bad tonight – glad I am home and staying here. Hopefully we will be able to get out in the morning.

Pretty, but I have seen enough already this winter. The dogs look awfully cute in the snow!
ReplyDeleteWhere do you live? These look like the pictures my sister sent from Smyrna, GA.
ReplyDeleteWhere is the shop? I love to visit new ones and do get to that area to visit my sister.
ReplyDeletePlease keep the snow down there. I've had enough up in Virginia. LOL Hope you don't have trouble in the morning.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! The puppies don't like it??? My dog loves fresh snow and rolls around in it!
ReplyDeleteI saw on the news it was snowing in your area. How beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteNot sure I want to tell you it will be 80 degree in our area this weekend. Take care Melinda.

I want a blue bottle tree, but never seem to get any blue bottles. I had one on the back porch and somebody threw it away.
ReplyDeleteOh your poor doggies. Mine wouldn't go out in that unless I threw treats. Not even sure that would work.
