Customer Quilt – Grandma Quilt

I quilted this old quilt top and delivered it today.  I did feather wreaths in the green large squares.  The stars are made from feedsacks.  The entire quilt is made by hand but the customer asked for it to be quilted so that it will be usable.  The center of the quilt is very flat but the borders have some issues. 

You can see the continuous curve in the stars and in the border I did a tight meandering to try to take up some of the excess fabric. There are a few pleats and some excess fabric in the border that I couldn’t get out but it is usable and looks pretty good.
