Quilt Tops from Last Night

Last night I taught a binding class and three of my students from the beginning piecing class brought their quilt tops in.  I didn’t take photos of the binding project but they each made a place mat from pre-quilted fabric.  It gives them the opportunity to cut binding, sew it on the front by machine, learning how to miter the corners and sewing by hand to the back.
