Customer Quilt

I delivered a finished quilt to a customer yesterday.  It is made from fabric that her daughter got during a trip to Africa.  The daughter is getting married on May 15 and I quilted the date into the quilt.

I forgot to take a photo of the backing – it is a large single piece of African fabric – mostly yellow.  Beautiful quilt that will have great meaning to her daughter and husband.

I quilted it with a freehand baptist fan that seemed to suit the fabric well.  This was not a feather or flower type quilt.
