We started the judging for the East Cobb Quilters’ Guild Quilt Show today. Unfortunately, the both of the judges were late due to Delta. Both of their planes were late and it was dinner time before we were able to get started. We have 363 quilts to judge and two more days to get it done in.
Here is stack of the quilts all ready and waiting for the judges.
Also, the local newspaper interviewed me for an article about the show. Hopefully this is a link to the online version of the article.
I tried to take a photo of the article in the newspaper – it didn’t turn out great but here it is.
They also had a photo of my selvage quilt
The photographer was very interested in this quilt. Also in the photo with me is a bright Turning Twenty, my Noah’s Ark for Noah and my Y2K Christmas hexagon quilt.
I must admit it is fun to have your picture in the paper – at least for something good like a quilt show.
Melinda
Wow Melinda. How wonderful to see you in print. I hope you have a wonderful show. Can't wait to hear all about it.
ReplyDeleteYou look great in the picture. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you win a ribbon, hopefully for the Selvage Quilt.
