Absolutely nothing went on in my sewing room this week. The Georgia Quilt Show was held in Cobb County for the first time and Tiny Stitches had a booth there so that is where I was much of the week/weekend. In addition, the local Marietta shops had a mini-shop hop so I worked part of that also. Busy, busy, busy.
My design wall looks exactly like it did last week.
Several people asked about the pattern for these wonderful spool blocks. I made this top in a class with Ami Simms and the pattern is only available in a class from her. If you ever get the chance, take a class from her! The spools are 3-D and have a piece of batting as stuffing. Wonderful fun in class.
Hopefully things around here will be back to normal – whatever that is this week.

super cute!
ReplyDeleteAt least you have something on your design wall, mine is empty. :-(
ReplyDeleteI missed them last week - love the spools!
ReplyDeleteThese spools are great!! If Ami offered the pattern for sale, I'd bet she'd have a lot of purchases!!
