Magical Slice and Dice

I taught a Magical Slice and Dice class a couple of weeks ago.  I only had one student, Patrick but he did a wonderful job with his quilt.

Here is his quilt with the first border on it and here is a close up of some of the blocks.

He started with a Kaffe print and I wasn’t sure how it would work but it turned out great.  See all the variety of blocks he was able to achieve.

Magical Slice and Dice is one of my sister Robin’s patterns.  You can find it here.

  1. This is so cool! There is new Phillip Jacobs piece - petunias- that comes in 3 color ways. I can't decide which one I like best but I'm going to get some and slice & dice it.

  4. Very pretty! That's nice that you had the class even though you only had one student.A lot of people would've cancelled and then he couldn't have had the opportunity to make it.
