Beginning Machine Piecing Class 3

This first photo is of the homework they did.  Both regular nine patches and nine patch variations.

Then we moved on to square dance and log cabin blocks.

Don’t they look great!

    I love your blog. It is so nice to see the beginners. I teach a similar class here in Virginia Beach - actually tonight if Hurricane Irene doesn't move too fast. I start w 4 patch, rail fence and a two by two pinwheel. This is not for true beginners, but rather for those who have probably made one quilt and don't know what to do next. it is fun to see their satisfaction.
