I tried to find a brown fabric to use for the inner border and binding on this quilt but it is such an unusual shade of brown that I couldn't find a single bolt that matched. I finally ended up using the same green that I used on the Yellow Brick Road. By the way, this pattern is one of my sisters and can be found here. It is a quick quilt to make and uses nine fat quarters, plus borders.
Oh, I´ve found a "binding friend", your opinion about bindings is the same as mine. Beautiful colours!
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous quilt. I am just a beginner but am loving the journey. I have only made 2 quilts and would be embarrassed for a "real quilter" to see but I hope to get better. I am trying anyway. This is my first visit with you and I love your blog.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is just a stunning quilt! I adore all the color combinations in the prints! (Visiting from Spring Swap)
